You have probably heard of Barre, but do you know what it is?

Read on to find out everything you should know about Barre Class and the benefits of this ballet-inspired workout…
What is a barre class, and what exactly can it do for the body? The low-impact conditioning class is a total three-for-one: It is a rigorous workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, pilates, and yoga. You'll also use other equipment, like a mat — which you're familiar with if you've ever tried yoga — or free weights, exercise bands and exercise balls.
Barre class will start with a short warmup, the teacher will demonstrate the movement and then provide encouragement and corrections for students. You’ll spend time between the barre and being on the yoga mat. Class is held to upbeat music, so you won't even notice you're working out! Unlike other cardio workouts like HIIT, boxing, or spin, barre workouts are different. A barre class is more static, focusing on the tiny movements to work each muscle to its absolute edge. Challenging, low-impact, and high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can - all in one class!
